We’ve onboarded new coaches during the last few weeks and several have asked “how do I get clients?”
While the coronavirus is affecting HireClub, we still see good interests and traffic to our sites. The situation is affecting workplaces and people are feeling anxious and uncertain about their jobs and careers, and are seeking support. This is where coaches can help.
We’ve laid out general suggestions on getting clients here: https://hireclub.com/help/how-do-I-get-more-coaching-clients. Next week, we will push to the HireClub community a link for people to schedule a 15-minute free Intro with a coach. Matching will be based on the intake questionnaire that people fill in via https://hireclub.com/start. You might see new appointments scheduled on your calendar because of this.
We ask that you revisit these core areas of you HireClub practice for the next few days:
- Reflect your interests as coach on https://hireclub.com/interests
- Update your calendar and availability on Acuity
- Read the guide on how to do handle your first appointment: https://hireclub.com/help/first-appointment
Coaches ultimately control the process to convert the Intro call into a subscription or paid single session. And we believe that our Coaches community is good at this.
Thank you Coaches!

Coaches if we are giving you feedback on process or how best to work with a client, we really need you to hear that.
While we often don’t tell you how to coach, after coaching over 1000 people we have learned many things that work and many that don’t.
So if we are stepping in for guidance, it’s to make sure clients have the best success. It’s not something we do often but we do need to be able course correct.
We’ve found that when HireClub and coaches partner best, clients are very happy. We’ve been able to learn things at scale that individual coaches don’t have insight on. I hope this all makes sense, we do love dialogs at points. At other points we have best practices to ensure clients stick around.
